December cultural programs
SlowXmas 11.24. – 12.24.
For the sixth time, thematic and shopping streets will come together as part of the SlowXmas event series, for a more intimate, relaxed Christmas that focuses on the holiday rather than shopping. The initiative, which will last until December 24, will involve 4 Budapest streets and numerous Budapest businesses, where concerts, workshops, literary and children's programs, theater performances, exhibitions and special gifts will await visitors. Instead of crowded shopping centers, the programs of Falk Art&Antique Street (Falk Miksa utca), Bartók Béla Boulevard (Bartók Béla út), Fashion Street (Deák Ferenc utca) and Ráday Soho (Ráday utca) will offer experiences and art.
The cavalcade of programs is available on the Shopping Street Management (BUM) platform, created and supported by the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Slow down and recharge! Sophisticated relaxation during the Advent period.
Exhibition, hot chocolate, joint crafts with the family, fine wine and good music with friends – this is how Advent can be spent instead of stressful shopping in shopping malls, as part of the SlowXmas program series. The Shopping Street Management (BUM), which focuses on slowing down instead of rushing, and on intimate, shared programs, has once again gathered the Advent program cavalcade of Budapest's largest streets. And among the mouth-watering gastronomic specialties and soul-warming cultural programs, we can also get our Christmas gifts for the holidays this year.

Once again, we bring you the best Israeli and Jewish-themed films of the past years! The films of the 5-day festival can be seen at the Pushkin Art Cinema and the Művész Cinema this year, but the venues have been expanded to include the Golem Center. The program is enriched by pre-premiere screenings, feature and documentary films not released in Hungary, and accompanying programs. This year is also Budapest's jubilee birthday, so we will be part of the Budapest 150 event series and celebrate Jewish Budapest together!
The festival's films are shown in their original language, with Hungarian and/or English subtitles.
