Mozart was born in Salzburg, but lived for several years in Vienna, where he composed most of his music, and died in Vienna in 1791.
There is a memorial museum in Vienna, in his house, where he lived for 3 years.

Domgasse 5 is Mozart's only surviving Viennese apartment. The composer lived in grand style in the Mozarthaus in Vienna between 1784 and 1787. He composed no more music anywhere else.
